In memory of

John "Jackie" Stoudt
December 24, 2004

On behalf of the Diligence Fire Company, it is with deep regret we announce the passing of Chief Engineer John "Jackie" Stoudt. He was stricken ill answering a dwelling fire in the borough of Lansford. Jackie took on the nickname of "Brother" through the years. I believe this name represents everything Jackie worked for and believed in. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Friend, who will be greatly missed. The words Dedication, Commitment, and Honor all represent his lengthy service of 49 years to the Borough of Summit Hill. Our hearts and prayers go out to his wife Shirley, and son Kevin, and family.
Respectfully;
